What the site collects before opening, and for how long.
What the club collects
If you join the membership list, the club keeps your name, email address, phone number if you give one, ZIP code, your New York City pistol license status (the license type, pending, or not yet applied), and how you heard about the club. No street address, license number, ID or payment details are asked for or kept.
If you ask about an event, the club keeps what you put in the form: your name, company, email, phone, preferred date, the occasion, a budget range and your notes.
Why the club collects it
To tell you when membership opens and to answer event inquiries. The club does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising.
How long it is kept
The table below is the whole retention schedule. Anything missing from it is deleted once the reason for holding it ends.
Safeguards under the New York SHIELD Act
The club keeps reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for private information: encrypted traffic, access limited to club staff, and notice to affected New York residents in the manner and timeframe the Act requires.
Your copy, and deletion
Email desk@gunspa.com from the address you signed up with to ask for a copy of what the club holds about you, or to be removed from the list. The club replies within 30 days.
